POSITION SUMMARY:

This role will perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  •  Compose, edit and type letters, memorandums, faxes and transmittals and maintain spreadsheets.

  •  Compile, organize, and accurately finalize documents for signature and/or other distribution.

  •  Maintain document logs; oversee document distribution.

  •  Schedule appointments and maintain calendars.

  •  Screen, handle, forward and place telephone calls for staff.

  •  Schedule conference rooms for meetings and arrange for catering as appropriate.

  •  Sort, open, deliver and process incoming mail, packages or internal correspondence.

  •  Arrange for courier or overnight services.

  •  Submit requests for supplies.

  •  Operate office equipment such as facsimile machines, photocopiers, telephones with voice mail capabilities, color copier.

 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Diploma

  • Minimum two years experience in an administrative support role.

 

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists

  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
