POSITION SUMMARY:
Title Closer will be responsible for processing and client closings will be required with the ability to manage multiple files and customers


 ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Ability to prepare HUDs and CD's using closing statement software

  • Coordinating due diligence for a variety of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including, acquisitions, sales, and financing, etc.

  • Coordinate title commitments and surveys

  • Working closely with title companies to clear title and obtain title policies

  • Conduct judgment, tax and other lien searches

  • Management of closing process from client to post closing final documents. Delivery of all closing packages, final policy, and recorded documents in a timely manner.

  • Resolve title issues prior to closing. Prompt professional response to all customer inquiries.

  • Polished professional appearance is expected


ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Answering the phone

  • Scheduling appointments and closings

  • Corresponding with clients, courts, agents and other professionals

  • Organizing and maintaining files

  • Conducting legal research

  • Preparing title searches, deeds, and other various documents


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Notary stamp

  • Minimum of 2+ years of title and closing experience

  • Service oriented attitude

  • Reliable transportation


QUALIFIED APPLICANTS SHOULD ALSO POSSESS:

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Intermediate math skills

  • An eye for detail

  • Be able to multitask in a face paced environment

  • Ability to work with a large volume of files on a daily basis

  • Experiences in all aspects of real estate closings and escrow


REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
