​SAMPLE JOB DESCRIPTION

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our examiner is responsible for the day-to-day examination of title files. S/He reviews compiled information pertaining to the subject property and then utilizes codes to properly identify each item to be disclosed on the preliminary report.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Coordinates title plant operations with the title department, customer service, sales, and outside services, as needed

  • Maintains records of information gathered related to properties

  • Reports research findings to appropriate personnel

  • Performs any other duties delegated by management

  • Adheres to company policies and guidelines


EXPERIENCE:
Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in the land title industry is required.
   
EDUCATION:
A high school diploma is required.  Some college preferred.
   
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, INSURANCE:
No certifications, licenses, or insurance are required.
   
KNOWLEDGE:
Must have an understanding of title operations.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (including physical requirements)
